SkillsUSA Georgia is on the lookout for extraordinary voices to kick off our Opening Ceremony with the patriotic spirit of the national anthem! 🎶✨ If you've got the vocal cords to captivate a crowd, we want YOU to be the star of our event!
🌟 How to audition:
1️⃣ Record a video of yourself singing the national anthem.
2️⃣Submit it online via this form by 8 p.m. ET on Friday, February 2nd.
3️⃣ Get ready to showcase your talent on a statewide stage! 🌍🎤
Submission Deadline: 2/2/24 at 8 p.m.
Selected singer(s) will be notified by Friday, February 9th . Don't miss this chance to shine! 🌟

State Community Service Project
We should always have a willing heart to help people in need. SkillsUSA Georgia would love to honor chapters that participate in this State Community Service Project. If your chapter chooses to participate, please complete the State Community Service Project Form found below by January 12, 2024. Be sure to include a photo of your group’s participation. If you complete the form by January 12, 2024, your chapter will be recognized at SkillsUSA Georgia State Leadership & Skills Conference in 2024.

It is with great excitement that we share the Career Expo will be back at SkillsUSA Georgia State Leadership & Skill Conference in 2024! The much anticipated expo will not disappoint. Our business and industry partners are enthusiastic and ready to be back in action with our amazing SkillsUSA Georgia participants. The CareerExpo is designed as an indoor, hands-on, interactive event, usually attended by thousands of SkillsUSA members, middle and high school students, and adults outside of SkillsUSA attendees. We look forward to seeing you all there.
Industry Speaker Series
Join us for an incredible Industry Speaker Series! These are industry speakers from the AVTF industry but this is open for all interested students! These classes are led by our business and industry expert partners, and spotlight all the job opportunities and skills needed in the industry. You do not have to be an Audio Video competitor at SLSC to join in the Industry Speaker Series. To enter, participants must be registered for SLSC and wear their SLSC official name badge. From Internships To Industry with Disney and the Georgia Film Academy
Open to ALL CTAE Students.
To make a movie or TV show, you need a crew trained in a full suite of skills from construction to cosmetology; welding to craft services (culinary); accounting to interior design - and of course, the production crafts like lighting, grip, and art department.
Join this session to hear from members of Disney and the Georgia Film Academy as they share how nearly anyone can break into the film and TV industries in Georgia.
Viewing Party
Have you ever wondered what Digital Cinema Production students and Television (Video) Production students produce for their career competitions? Wonder no more and join us for a viewing party to support your school’s AV program. All registered attendees are welcome to share this experience. To enter, you must wear your SLSC official name badge. Final details will be released on the SkillsUSA Georgia website under the State Leadership & Skills Conference tab and will be available in the conference app.
