The 2RE conference is here for the 2nd year in a row replacing SkillsUSA Georgia’s old Fall Leadership Conference. This conference is designed to cultivate chapter experiences, explore the SkillsUSA Framework and formulate a successful chapter plan. Each chapter will leave out with important takeaways that they will be able to launch back at school.
Late Fee Policy- SkillsUSA GA will be implementing a new late fee policy for all SkillsUSA functions. If you register anyone late for any SkillsUSA event, there will be a processing and handling fee of $20 per registrant. We will only accept late registrants a week after the registration deadline. No exceptions. Conference materials (i.e. conference t-shirt, promo materials, etc.) cannot be guaranteed as SkillsUSA GA may have already placed these orders. The Sheraton Atlanta is the official conference hotel and all chapters are required to stay in the official hotel. The SkillsUSA Office will make all hotel reservations. Advisors will make room assignments by using the “Hotel Planner” drag & drop on the On-line Registration site. Detailed registration directions available as a download on this site.
All Chapters are required to stay overnight at the Sheraton for the conference. If CTAE director requests for you to not stay overnight, please call us at 866-503-3169.
FEES: Conference Registration: $65 per person & $50 Chapter Fee
$20 Late Registration Fee per registrant
Absolutely no REFUNDS will be granted.
Hotel Self-Parking- $12 per day per vehicle
HOTEL PRICE: $149 nightly plus with a State Hotel Assessment Fee of $5.00 per room/per night. TOTAL: $154 a night per room when accompanied by both tax exemption forms (see below).
HOTEL INVOICE: A hotel invoice template has been provided for you. Simply fill-in the invoice with the number of rooms (listing each room separately by attendee(s) name and deleting any lines from the invoice not used- see example) you will be reserving and paying for and it will calculate your invoice amount. This invoice can be given to the school bookkeeper or school system to submit payment to hotel. Each room on the invoice is calculated at $154 a night but this rate only applies if the payment is accompanied by both tax exemption forms listed below and provided as downloads on this site.
IMPORTANT: Each school must complete a Sales Tax Exemption Form and an Occupancy Tax Exempt Form per the Sheraton. You will find both of these forms available on the site as a download. The Sales Tax Exemption form has been pre-filled out for you and the school will only need to complete the bottom section of the form in which the school will be referred to as the business. Please make sure both forms accompany your payment.

Step 4: Complete hotel invoice, have both hotel tax exempt forms completed and signed and submit invoice for payment. Make necessary arrangements to pay hotel invoice 2 weeks prior to arrival (October 10th) or on-site. Paying in advance will alleviate your check-in time.
